Nut trees are attractive and beneficial for naturalization as well as providing a good source of food for wildlife.

 

Most of our nut trees are also designated as native trees.  The majority of our nut trees have been grown from seeds collected locally in Zone 5a, making for hardy trees due to provenance.

 

Some species we grow include: Black Walnut, Shagbark Hickory, Red Oak, Pin Oak, Swamp White Oak, Burr Oak, Butternut, Chestnut and American Hazelnut.  We are continually growing new varieties and will have more choices in the near future.
